Interactive Film

The Interactive Film Project is an innovative multimedia short film that pushes the boundaries of traditional video storytelling through the use of HTML and JavaScript. Designed to emulate live security footage, the project allows viewers to click between different "cameras" in real time, giving them control over how they experience the film’s progression. This unique approach combines interactive technology with the suspense and humor of a paranormal comedy, paying homage to found-footage classics like Paranormal Activity while adding a fresh, engaging twist.

The project required a seamless blend of coding, filmmaking, video editing, and multimedia storytelling. By crafting an experience where the viewer could control their perspective at any given moment, I created an immersive and dynamic narrative. This innovative format not only showcases technical expertise but also demonstrates how interactive design can elevate traditional film genres.

Filmmaking & Videography

I conceptualized and executed a dynamic multimedia short film that allowed viewers to actively participate in the storytelling. By designing a system where users could switch between different "camera feeds," I reimagined the traditional viewing experience, creating an engaging format that blended suspense, comedy, and interactivity.

Coding with HTML, CSS, & Javascript

Using HTML and JavaScript, I built an interactive interface that enabled real-time camera switching, giving viewers the freedom to choose their perspective. This required innovative problem-solving and precise coding to ensure seamless transitions and an intuitive user experience, pushing the limits of traditional film presentation.

Interactive Media

From planning the narrative and shooting the footage to editing and synchronizing multiple camera angles, I applied a comprehensive approach to filmmaking. My work ensured that each "camera feed" told its own story while contributing to the overall narrative, creating a cohesive and immersive viewing experience.
